Historical Overview: This is a preparation of fusion cuisine here in the United States classified tel-mex cuisine, that is a recipe inspired by ingredients and Mexican cultures, but developed in the United States, industrialized products of American origin. The original recipe is from my friend of 35 years Carlos Anato, who at every opportunity we are prepared at home, is the favorite of Delilah and all our children. However, as good cooks Dalila and myself we've made some changes, especially in the type of marinated meat and the seasonings used. It is easy to prepare and Dalila's Gourmet them we always talk about our parents when we go to visit Venezuela. Salad Ingredients: 1 bag Doritos Tortilla or 4 cups of Chili Con Carne 1 bottle spicy tomato sauce (Tostitos brand) 3 Lettuce finely chopped 2 cups of vinaigrette Pico'e Gallo 6 tablespoons sour cream (1 for each plate of salad) 9 tablespoons sliced black olives or 2 small cans 2 cups Mexican cheese Lined monterrey cheese Vinaigrette Ingredients Pico'e Gallo: 3 tomatoes seeded and cut into inch cubes 1 onion, cut into inch cubes 2 cloves garlic, minced fine 1 cup finely chopped cilantro cup extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons vinegar 1 pinch of oregano Salt and pepper to taste Ingredients For the Chili Con Carne: 1 pound ground beef 2 cups of beans (beans) soft red (cooked without seasoning) 1 cup tomato liquefied in a little water 1 onion finely chopped 8 cloves crushed garlic (50% for marinating meat and 50% for the sauce) 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon fresh homemade dressing teaspoon paprika or paprika 1 teaspoon seasoning fajita 2 tablespoons oil (for marinating) 2 tablespoons olive oil (for sauce) 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce Salt and pepper to taste Preparation Pico'e Gallo Vinaigrette: In a bowl put 1 cup water with a tablespoon of vinegar, soak for 15 minutes for the onion loses its hotness Drain well, incorporating all the other ingredients and mix to unify all vinaigrette ingredients Chili Con Carne Preparation: In a bowl put the marinade ingredients (garlic, seasoning, oil, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper), stir until combined Stir all ingredients ground beef and mix thoroughly until the spices are well scattered Marinate meat for an hour or so. .
